Wales is often referred to as ‘The Land of Revivals’. The last great revival took place a century ago when Evan Roberts, ‘an insignificant instrument, in an isolated Principality, ministering in a minority language was greatly used of God’. Within a comparatively short time people were flocking to this little-known country on the Celtic fringe of Europe from neighbouring countries and across Europe. A decade later and all five continents had experienced the ripples of revival. On the Wings of the Dove traces the expansion of this revival and its continuing impact today.
